installer is not creating Setup.ilg(log file)

Hi,

Issue:
I am migrating IS12 msi project to IS2009. My installer is not at all entering into maintenance(uninstall) mode.

Observation 1:
While debuging i found that, the following condition is always TRUE
if(!MAINTENANCE)

Observation 2:
After comparing reg keys before and after installing my apps. i found that my installer is creating log file as
C:\\Program Files (x86)\\InstallShield Installation Information\\{87B5415D-A0A3-4936-88A0-D5E98557B0AF}\\Setup.ilg
but when i check in the above location, the Setup.ilg file was not there...:(

Note:
I am using IS 2009 SP2 evaluation version.

Can anybody sugest me what i have to do?
