how to add to domain suffix search order

Hi All,

I try to repackage the original msi by using transform template. My original package need to launch the client configuration. This client is dependent on the systems network interface containing the addition of one specific domain name ( e.g XXXX.com) to the domain suffix search order. The addition of XXX.com to the domain suffix search order must be completed prior to running the client configuration wizard.

I am quite new in installshield 2011. so I haven't got any idea how to customize in installshield. I would appreciate for any idea or suggestion for that matter.

Hi all,

I know where i can check the domain suffix search list and how i can add new.
open regedit and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->SYSTEM->CURRENTCONTROLSET->SERVICES->TCPIP->PARAMETERS.

I am still trying to add new domain suffix automatically while running the msi.
i am customizing the msi by installshield.

if u have any idea /suggestion for this matter, i would appreciate you much.
