force a log file always?
I would like to be able to force a log file to be generated when the installer is run, named MyInstall.log in the same path as the .msi file.
Is there a way to set this in the installer project?
Thanks in advance,
Don Metzler

If you're targeting Vista systems with MSI 4.0, you can specify always to create a log file (though it goes in the temp directory); if you can use setup.exe, you can specify the logging switches /L*v C:\everything.log in the MSI Command Line Arguments setting.
