fatal error -7159: license expired when doing remote iscmdbld
Hello,
as part of the build of our application we launch a powershell invoke command to created the installer in our Installshield 2016 server.
The creation of this installer works perfectly when done locally on the Installshield server, but when done remotely from our build machine using a powershell remote session or powershell Invoke-Command we get this error:
This server is correctly licensed with Installshield 2016 premier license and in all cases tried we used iscmdbld.exe -p command.
Thanks for your help.

Hi guys, really no answers yet? I have same issue and still don't know how to solve it.
Refreshing this thread just because if someone could read it and answer, it would be great.
Thanks!

Hi,
The error that you are seeing indicates that there is a licensing issue.
The build must be run as the same user who activated the copy of Installsheld, from and on the same machine where its installed, not from a remote machine.
Try logging into your Product and License center account and download the Standalone build installer.
Install and use this on your build machine instead of accessing Installshield remotely.
Cheers,
Stuart
