custom switch for MSI
Is it possible to add a custom switch for an MSI on the command line? Or...does anyone have any ideas as a way to pass in a parameter at install time?
I want an install to *not* do a function if this parameter is passed in....
Please Help!!!!!

Now I'm on a Basic MSI and I need to pass in a variable from the command line. Create one or use a public one but I can't find a good public one to use (e.g.: I'm not changing INSTALLDIR="bypass" so I can bypass a step in my installer).
PLEASE ANY IDEAS??? no one's answering my posts here...any reply would help at this point...

You can write a custom action to set a property based on your needs and then run/not run your function based on conditional parameters set using this property. Thx.
