Windows Systems32 Folder

How do I get this value?

Is there a keyword for it like SUPPORTDIR?

I see it in the variables but I want to pass it to a dropdown box in a dialog.

I can't assume it is C:\windows\system32 because even I do not have a C: drive mapped. I always change it.

thanks

For an InstallScript project, perhaps see if WINSYSDIR contains the value you want?

Brillant!

That was exactly what I wanted. For the future, what site or documentation did you find that?

I tried a search but only got a specific page with no links going anywhere else for SUPPORTDIR keyword.

Thanks!

The InstallShield help library has an InstallScript Language Reference section; WINSYSDIR is listed in that section under Variable Data > System Variables...

It should also be available in the help library under InstallShield's Help > Contents command; as an aside, that should have more recent information than the version 9 help library in that link...
