Windows Authentication fails in InstallExecute (SQL Server)
Hi
We are using Windows Authentication to connect to a remote MS SQL Server 2005. The connection is working 100% during the UI. I can connect to the server and browse the DB's. I've added a script to execute at Login and it's executing without any problems.
During the InstallExecute sequence the install is failing on connecting to the SQL Server - Error 27502.Could not connect to Microsoft SQL Server 'paulg'. Login failed for user 'SYNERGY\JACOWIN2003$'. (18456). SYNERGY is the domain and JACOWIN2003 is name of the PC on which I’m executing the install. The user should be 'SYNERGY\JACOV$ where JACOV is my domain user and the user executing the install.
I’m getting the same error with InstallShield 2008.
Does anyone know how I can get pass this problem?
Thanks
