Why: "Resuming the InstallShield Wizard..."
I'm trying to make an installer so that it will simply install over previous versions. I have set it up as a major upgrade so that it should uninstall the previous version of the application first, the install the new version (I assume).
Whenever I run a new version installer it says:
Resuming the InstallShield Wizard for xxxx [my application]
This makes it so the new installation no longer asks to launch the program
What am I doing wrong please?

It sounds as if Windows Installer sees this as a minor upgrade. Perhaps post how you set up the major upgrade? Does InstallShield's upgrade validation tell you anything more?
