Where are SQL Server native client redistributables?
I am using ISLE 2011. I need to redistribute the SQL Server native client (for 2008 R2, preferably) with my setup program.
This link says Installshield 2011 includes SQL native client redistributables:
http://blogs.flexerasoftware.com/installtalk/2011/03/deploying-legacy-web-applications-with-the-late...
However, I don't see these redistributables in my ISLE UI. How can I add them?
Thanks!

Re: Where are SQL Server native client redistributables?
Hi,
ISLE supports the following under Redistributable view:
Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Native Client 10.00.2531(x86)
Microsoft SQL Server Native Client 9.00.4035(x86)
In InstallShield Premier and Professional edition you can add additional prerequisites through the Prerequisite Editor option.
Thanks,
Madu

Re: Where are SQL Server native client redistributables?
Hi, Madu,
Thanks for your response. I have ISLE 2011, and I don't see either of those two entries in my redistributables view! I only have 4 entries that have "SQL" in them:
1) SQL CE 3.5 SP2
2) SQL 2005 Express SP3 (x86)
3) SQL 2008 Expresss SP1 (x86 and x64Wow)
4) SQL 2008 Express SP1 (x86)
Could they somehow be hidden or something? Do I need to download something from your website to get them to show up?
Thanks,
-Andy

Re: Where are SQL Server native client redistributables?
Hi,
I apologize for the miscommunication.
ISLE doesn't support SQL Native client redistributables.
As you had mentioned it supports only the four following redistributables.
1) SQL CE 3.5 SP2
2) SQL 2005 Express SP3 (x86)
3) SQL 2008 Expresss SP1 (x86 and x64Wow)
4) SQL 2008 Express SP1 (x86)
Thanks,
Madu
