Uninstalls fails due to Custom Action
I'm using installshield 2013 Limited Edition to create a setup project. I accidentally added a 'After System Changes' custom action that is invalid.
it's named NewCustomAction1 and has no File Location, File Name or anything. I build and installed the project. so far so good.
upon uninstall however i get an error: "Error 2721. Custom action NewCustomAction1 not found in Binary table stream"
Due to this the uninstall fails and I am trapped in an endless loop. I have removed the custom action, but i cannot install that version since it wants to uninstall the previous version before and that results in the same error again.
Does anyone have an idea how to work around this problem?
(System Recovery is not an option)
Thanks for any help in advance.
