Uninstaller requires Java path

Hi,

I am using InstallShield Multiplatform11.5. When I uninstall my product a message is popped up "A suitable JVM could not be found. Please select a JVM by selecting its java.exe file.". This message appears in Windows 7 and Windows XP SP2 environments only. Can anybody help to resolve this issue.

Thanks,
Gokul

Yah - I find this very annoying with the MP installer. The installer Verifies the JVM on Install as well as Uninstall.

I believe, not 100% sure, but the problem is that you do not have a JVM Search instruction for the JVM on Windows 7: most likely 1.6.

Check out "Application Data"->Launchers->Product Uninstaller->Product Uninstaller JVM Resolution

and click on the JVM Search instructions for the Win32 and Win64 platform properties.

You may need to create a new search jvm file...back when I was using MP for my Windows Installs I believe I copied one of the .jvm files to a 1.6 .jvm and just changed all the numbers to reference 1.6 JVM.
