I am using IS 2019. To keep it short and sweet, I'm suprised that Windows uninstaller (via control panel) has failed to uninstall a currently installed application before manually installing the next version. No errors exist in the uninstallation, but the shortcuts remain on desktop/program files and the files in program files location.
Any ideas where how I can fix/address this asap? I need to make a new package to distribute to clients but never expected problems with such a basic uninstallation.
Please make sure that the Upgrade GUID is the same between the two versions (the one you are uninstalling and the new one)... otherwise I think they get treated as two different applications.
