Unable to change install Directory in InstallShield package
I have an ASP.NET MVC application. I am able to create MSI installer for MyApp.Ui in Visual Studio. In Install Shiled I clicked on Menu>>GO>>Server Configuration >> IIS . In website I created a new Website MYApp.UI. In home directory COntrol source path is {IISROOTFOLDER} .
Then I goto Menu>>GO>>ApplicationData>>Files and Folder. Here is Destination computer's folder I click on [IISROOTFOLDER] and add my MyApp.UI MVC Project.
Then in Installation Localization I click on >> DO you want users to be able to modify installation location and then I build Installation.
When i install application(MyApp.exe) it installs in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\ even if i change Installation folder to E:\inetpub\wwwroot\ in setup.
Setup creates E:\inetpub\wwwroot\ directory but it's empty. All setup files are installed in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\
Can anyone advise on this how to change installation directory while installing Web APP through Install Shield
