Hi All, I have a merge module that works perfectly for 64 bit operating systems i.e. it install 64 components/files for 64 bit OS. This merge module is use by an MSI project for installation.
Now i want this merge module to work for 32 bit operating systems too. I want to know whether it is possible to have a single merge module that works for both 32 and 64 bit OS. Can this merge module be included in MSI project for installation on both 32 and 64 bit Opearting systems?
According MS's best pratice for MSI's you can only 1 target OS from a MSI, that includes MSM's. So you need a separate mergemodule for the 32 bit OS target.
