Silent uninstallation fails

Hello folks,
We have migrated from installshield to installanywhere but we use the installshield uninstaller to uninstall some older versions of the product. But whenever we invoke the IS uninstaller with commnad line options /x/s, there a error saying that these are not valid command line options and with warnings that uninstaller cannot delete certain files.
Is this a know issue? any workaround or fix available? any suggestion would be of great help.
Thanks.

What InstallShield version and project type was the old product made with? For example, an ISMP installer or uninstaller uses -silent, and not -s, to indicate a silent run.

Thanks a lot, the option silent is working.
