I am trying to place a shortcut in the startup folder for a 32bit application on a 64bit OS and it fails everytime. Anyone have experience with this?

I hope you have the shortcut set appropriately as per the components key not hard code.... may be file redirection (Program Files and Program Files(x86) ) might be the problem

I have had simular problems, not hard coding and chaning it to a non-advertized short cut seems to work.

It does work as Setup32 and Setup64 on Windows 7 (x64).
Shortcut Advertised and not.

Setup build as msi. No hardcoding made.
