Hello, my name is Alessandro Guaragni from Italy I have a regular InstallShield 2015 license. Unfortunately the installation was mounted on a PC that is no longer available because it is damaged. I have re-installed it from an image on another PC, but at the start of Installshield he asks me to activate it. I don't have the possibility to unhook the previous installation, but I need to use the software. How can I proceed?
You need to speak to Flexera tech support and ask them to de-register the old version. It is a pain, I've had this happen a couple of times over the years, but they are usually very quick at responding to this and I don't think this requires a maintenance agreement with them.
