Redistributing program during setup
Hi everybody,
I try to add an existing program setup to my new setup project. This program acts like a Redistributable for one of my components, but cannot be installed in silent mode.
One way to install it may be just launch the existent setup file as custom action. The problem with this way wood be: If the program is already installed the setup wood launch in maintenance mode.
Can you give a recommendation on how to my dependent program?

You can add your setup to the pre-requisites and add suitable condition which determines it's presence on the system.
if you want to handle it in a custom action then it's pretty much the same... check if your setup is already installed .. if yes.. don't launch ... else just launch...
