Recovery of a value from a script MSI
Hello,
With the aim of recovering value msi with a script, I use msigetproperty. But there are several components that I can not understand:
The pointer on the forum: how is it used?
The size of the variable size in character? In bytes?
How does one assign to this function the path of the scope of the dialog box to retrieve the value?
Thank you in advance for your response.

Please see the MSI help topic "MsiGetProperty" for an explanation of the function and its arguments, and see the InstallShield topic "Getting and Setting Properties" for an InstallScript example of calling that function.
