Quickpatch & Custom Actions
[Installshield 2011, QuickPatch-Project]
Hi,
I have created a Quick-Patch project that is based on an existing MSI-Package.
In the "Custom Action" view under "General Information", some actions are disabled by default (greyed out) while others are enabled.
1. Does anybody know the reason for these custom actions being disabled. I didn't find any criterion.
2. The checkbox of the disabled CAs is not checked. Nevertheless, these actions are executed when the patch is run. Is there any way to get rid of them? I would like my patch to run without executing any custom action.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your can add those greyed-out CAs directly in the Direct Editor, table 'ExcludedCustomActions'.
Then they are not executed.
Then they are not executed.
