Problem while installing on Vista

Hi,
Our installer is working fine on Windows XP or Windows 2003 server, but the installer is not able to edit and update the deployed files on Vista OS (as they are marked as ready only). We are using Install shield 2009 Express and logged in user have admin right on machine.



Please let me know if any one come across this issue or do have any work around to fix the above issue?

Hi!

You want to make a update installation of your product is that correct?
Where are the files located?

Did you run the setup with 'run as Administrator'?

yes i have run it as administrator also we are copying the file in C:\program files

what files do you want to edit or update?
can you make a simple example?
