Prioritizing Install Condtions
Hi,
New to 2009 Professional and just got my arms around the Conditions logic but I cannot get the Conditions to remain in the order entered.
The order should first evaluate for legacy OS, then server OS, then NTVersion >= 600, each with a separate message returned. I enter in the prefered order but upon returning to the Conditions editor, they reorder themselves. Can this be overcome?
Thanks in advance.

As you discovered, Windows Installer does not allow you to specify the order in which it evaluates product launch conditions. If you want to control the order in which the conditions are evaluated, you can create an error custom action in the Custom Actions and Sequences view for each condition, and schedule them in the appropriate order.
I hope that helps.

DebbieL,
Thanks for the response. I will move now to that learning curve.
