Not able to change the version number of Setup.exe
Hi!
I have just resntly change from WISE to Installshield and run into my first problem. I would like to change the version number of my Setup.exe to the same version number of my software. I have change Property "Use my Version Info" to Yes but the Setup.exe still has a version number of 15. .. ..
My sofware has version 9.5.0000.

Which project type do you use?
It works for Basic MSI projects. The StringFileInfo data of a file-version resource contains the ProductVersion.

I have a Basic MSI project.
What do you mean? Should I use the String Data to change the product version of setup.exe?

Yes, I get the same result. But what I want to change is the "File Version" on the top of screen shot. File Version 15. .. ..
Do you see what I mean?

That´s not supported by InstallShield. But a resource editor could probably do the job.
