Need restart between uninstall and install while doing major upgrade
Hi,
I am trying to do a mojor upgrade. Which does uninstall and install.
I am installing a driver which requires a reboot between uninstall and install.
To accomplish this I have done following:
I added the AFTERREBOOT property in Property Manager and set the value to 0, then I added the ForceReboot Standard action after RemoveExistingProducts and InstallInitialize CA's with condition AFTERREBOOT<>1 And IS_MAJOR_UPGRADE="Yes".
The above steps are working fine i.e., it uninstalls and prompt for the system reboot, when i press yes, it restarts. After restarting it gives following error
"This installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package."
