NOT REINSTALL vs _IsMaintenance = "Change" To Run Actions Only During Modify...
Hi all,
There are a few deferred actions I have which I only want to execute if a Modify (not Repair) installation is undertaken. Currently the condition for these actions is set as NOT REMOVE="ALL" AND VersionNT64 .
With this the actions will run during Repair, which I guess is not a big deal at all, but I was just wondering which would be better to add to the condition...
More and more I try to take as few dependencies on IS specific things so I would tend to sway toward NOT REINSTALL since it is an MSI-centric concept available in all authoring tools.
