I have multiple machines in an intranet that I need to install software on. I was wondering if I could have some kind of master install that would install all the software on the various machines through launching it once on one of the machines?
Isn't that what distribution software is created for, to distribute a single MSI to multiple targets? SMS, Systems Management Server. I am sure anything is possible with enough code and such but why reinvent well tested systems such as SMS?
