Major Upgrade not uninstalling old version

Hi,

I am evaluating InstallShield Express 2014 and when deploying a major upgrade the previous version is not being uninstalled first, leaving 2 versions registered as being installed.

Was this issue not fixed in a previous version ?

Can someone suggest any work around to cure this ?

Hi, I had read it but for some reason I thought I had to change the Ugrade Code too.

Good lesson to double check the basics - that I am following the instructions correctly.

Is there any way to actually "LOCK" the Upgrade Code to prevent accidental updates ?
