Is the "supported platforms" broken?
This post is sort of follow-up to my previous post here:

I've done some test:
I unchecked "Windows XP", generated a setup and run it inside a XP. The setup just ran without any problem! Isn't it supposed to display a message? I would expect something like:
Your platform (Windows XP) isn't supported

Is the correct condition reflected in Product Properties > Install Conditions, or in the Direct Editor view under the LaunchCondition table?

What Robert wrote applies to MSI projects. If this is a pure InstallScript project I think there'sd no default code that locks out other Windows versions. You could write this in your OnBegin event handler.
