I would like to package the executable version of the VMware horizon client and need to pass the /silent command. Is there a way to do this within the designer settings without the need to create response files.? Thanks.
Installshield isn't a tool to repackage 3rd party applications - to do that you would need to take a look at the Adminstudio software. Adminstudio contains the repackager tool which allows you to capture the installation of an application and then repackage it for your own requirements.
Alternatively you can just contact VMware directly to ask how to silently install their application.
If on the other hand you are the VMware developer for the horizon client - then it would be possible to interogate your project to understand what would need to be set during a silent install for it to be successful.
