Installation options after first install...

I am a new user, IS 2009 Premier.

I have a Basic MSI install package. If I run the install twice, on the 2nd attempt it always uninstalls the previous then begins the install.

In a Basic MSI install, how do I control this behavior?

Assuming you're running installations from InstallShield, please clear the setting Tools > Options > Preferences > Uninstall before installing.
