InstallShield Universal 11 - is it possible to sign the output binaries?

Hello,

We produce our installers by InstallShield 11 Universal on the Windows platform. We produce them in the form of .exe files (e.g.: setup.exe). 
We add a digital signature to these files by 3rdparty utility. It breaks these executables, we can't execute these exe files.

What is the correct way to add a digital signature to binary files produced by InstallShield Universal 11? We see this problem only with files produced by InstallShield Universal 11.

InstallShield 11 Universal has reached its end-of-life, so InstallShield 11 Universal is no longer supported. Please contact us via the Contact Us Form at the following link to upgrade to InstallAnywhere 2023 R1, which is the latest supported InstallAnywhere version:
