I am running Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate and every time I start an InstallShield project and try to work in it, it crashes and restarts my Visual Studio session. Anyone have an idea why this is happening? I am running Windows 7 on my desktop. I have tried to uninstall the InstallShield LE and reinstall it, but with no luck. Thanks in advance.
I am running Visual Studio 2010 Premium and I am having the same issue with an error message stating "an error occurred loading scrrun.dll. Check to see that this file exists in the Windows System folder and that the file is properly registered." The file exists and its registered.
Can you try running VS 2010 as an Administrator (I assume you are running on Vista or Windows 7), then create a ISLE project and see if the problem persists?
