InstallShield 2018 problems with installation of redistributables
InstallShield 2018 is having problems installing redistributables for VS 2017 x64 and x86 . Can reproduce this problem on several machines, including clean (only system updates) Windows VM's (7, 8, 10, 2012 R2, 2016, 2019).

Hi @benjamin_mahr ,
I have seen issues with the C++ 2017 Redistributable and noticed that this may be due to a version number conflict in the registry.

Regards,
Daniel.

The article suggests that you use the latest Microsoft EXE file, and also alter the condition which is being used - try this:
