Install Shield Upgrade 2014 to 2018

Hello,

I am using Install Shield 2014 Premier version in my project. We plan to upgrade Install Shield 2018 Premier version. Can anyone please the steps how to do upgrade? What file I need to do check-in (using TFS) for upgrade?

Hi Vasanth,

Follow the below steps
i) Double click ISM file
ii) InstallShield Prompt to save existing ISM file with version extension.
iii)Compile your code with latest installshield
iv) Test your installer completely

TFS Check-in - Ism file,rul files,support files & .h files

Hi

Installscript project may have .h files.
Open the ISM file and navigate to Supportfiles and check the files that are associate to your projects.
