Including MSXML msi as redistributable

Hi, My Installshield 2014 uses msxml3 msm but due to security vulnerabilities we decided to move to msxml6 which comes as msi rather than msm.

How to include the msxml6 msi inplace of msxml3.

I did select the msxml6 msi in redistributable and this downloaded the required msi into local drive but selecting this msi as redistributable fails to build my project with 7067 error.

Please help.

The best solution here would be to create a prerequisite to install the msxml6 msi before the main installer.

Installshield 2020 comes with pre-built MSXML 6.0 SP1 prerequisites, so if you are able to upgrade to the latest version of Installshield they will be available for you.
