I have InstallShield 2012 Prof. Edition, Sp 1. I open an older InstallShield project to convert it and I get: ISDEV : fatal error -6016: Could not copy the template Upgrade completed with 1 errors, 0 warnings Anyone have any idea? There is not much that I can do with this version until I can get the older project converted... Thanks much!
What version of InstallShield was the old project developed with? If it's really old (several versions) you might have to convert it in two steps. E.g., if the old project was created with InstallShield 12, and you have a version of InstallShield 2010, first convert it to 2010, then try going from 2010 to 2012 ... a stepwise conversion.
