ISDEV : fatal error -5037: Internal build error
I am getting this error while building my installation file. I am using a Basic MSI package with no bells and whistles in it. The only thing I have are my application files and two redistributables (.NET 3.5 SP1 and SQL Express 2005)
When I examine the log file, it occurs immediately after the language (Language English (United States) built)
The KB does not give me any clue as what causes the error. It makes some references to use a "Direct Editor" which, for the life of me, I cannot locate on any menu.
What else can I do ? HELP !!!
I am using Installshield 2008 for Visual Studio 2008
TIA
Bryan

I examined the entries in the component table and they all look fine.
I do NOT have MDAC 2.5 selected so that is not it.
When I build, the error occurs immediately after the log entry that says "Language English (United States) built"
Any ideas? I need to get this project out the door ASAP.

UPDATE
My .NET (VB) project contains Crystal Reports XI components and when I disable those components and rebuild, it goes fine. So what the heck is going on with IS and Crystal reports? Don't they play well together????? What is going on?
