Hi, I have an MSI InstallScript 2008 project and need to certify it for Windows Vista. I'm using the inbuilt validation suit and get these errors which I have no idea how to solve:
'Dialog MsiRMFilesInUse is not present in the Dialog table (ICEIS18)'
I have the entry for DialogId_12071 in the dialog table which corresponds to SdRMFilesInUse...these two dont appear to have the same name so not sure if this is the issue, but if it is how do I resolve it?
Note: I tried renaming DialogId_12071 to MsiRMFilesInUse but that didnt work
My other issue is:
'UpgradeCode {....} does not detect and prevent downgrades with a property scheduled Type 19 Custom Action; the package must prevent downgrades (ISICE19)'
I dont understand why I see this error, I have created a Major Upgrade item which has the Detect Property set to 'ISFOUNDNEWERPRODUCTVERSION', this is also used in the ISPreventDowngrade install sequences. I followed the help to the letter but to no avail.
