How to run Basic MSI installer with elevated priviledges if UAC is enabled in Vista?
Hi,
What settings are required to be done in my Basic MSI project if I wish to run my setup.exe created from Basic MSI project to run with elevated priviledges viz. equivalent to Right click on Setup.exe and clicking on 'Run as administrator' if UAC is enabled on target machine running Win. Vista.
Please let me know as soon as possible since its needed for certain self installing driver files in my installer.
Thanks & Regards,
Digant Kamdar

In InstallShield 2008 Professional the "Execution Level" is a property of the release:
1. Select the Media->Release node in the Installation Designer.
2. Select the Release your interested in
3. Select the "Setup.exe" tab
There should then be an option: "Required Execution Level" which can be configured
I think this is what you need...
