How to retrieve from HKEY_USERS?

Hi All

Is there a simple way to find user ID for the current user in the registry under HKEY_USERS? I’m trying to retrieve a key value under HKEY_USERS\S-user id number\Software…, but RegDBQueryKey() gets cranky with partial paths.
