How to convert Installscript to Basic MSI?
Hi,
I am new in Installshield 2009.
I have a project which is Installscipt project. And I am required to change it to Basic MSI in order to solve unicode problem.
Do there any way to convert Installscript project to Basic MSI project?
Thanks.

The Premier edition of InstallShield has a Repackager tool, as does the AdminStudio product, which is used to convert a non-MSI package to an MSI package...

Robert,
Can you elaborate it a little bit more? I have IS2009 Prime installed, and when I navigate through the IDE, I don't see any tool(s) like 'Repackager', maybe there is a separate app/tool?
I opened an existing InstallScript project, but IDE->Project->Project Converters->Convert to InstallScript MSI Project is greyed out, I hope that's not what you are refering to.
Thanks,
Peter

If nothing else, you should be able to download Repackager through Tools > Check for Updates.
