How do I make selected files not be embedded within an .MSI file for a Basic MSI Setu
I am trying to create a basic MSI installer, where all files are embedded within the MSI file except one file, a .Config file, so that it can be easily edited before running setup.
This is very simple when using a Visual Studio 2008 Setup Project, there is a property for each file called PackageAs, and this can be changed from vsdpaDefault to vsdpaLoose, and the file will then be part of the .MSI but not embedded within it.
I cannot find a way to do this within InstallShield. How can this be done?

‘support files’ may help you;
Use ‘support files’ to add the file, which is under Behavior & Logic -> Support Files ->Advanced Files -> Disk1
But you need CA to install & uninstall the file.
