Error Number: 0x80040706 Object reference not set during minor upgrade

Hi,

I am using IS 2009 SP1. Its a IS MSI Project. It was working fine few days back but now suddenly started giving me below error while I perform minor upgrade. I am using this configuration since more than 1.5 year and it has worked perfectly for me.

The error I am getting is:
Error Number: 0x80040706
Description: Object reference not set

Setup will not terminate.

I have attached the log file.

Any idea what is going on here? I appreciate your help.

I resolved the issue. It was with the CreateObject method.
