When is this error going to be fixed? The work around in the knowledge base is only a short term fix. For those of us who use Team Build and have less control over directories this will eventually be a show stopper. The limits of WIN32 are so 1990.
ISDEV : error -6267: An error occurred while extracting files from the cab file....
We are again getting 6307 errors. This time it is because of the merge modules. This has now become a big problem for us and glancing back over the forums it is for others as well. Is there hot fix? When will there be a permanent fix? These are just temp files we are talking about here. We should be able to point them anywhere. How about using the standard TMP or TEMP environment rather than some convoluted directory structure that is obviously problematic?
The workarounds listed in the forums are insufficient…
