This could be linked to the Installshield settings.xml pointing to the wrong timestamp server.

Originally it was pointing to a verisign server - however verisign have taken this offline. We have a great article about how to alter the settings.xml along with a patch that you may need to install:

Thank you for the answer, but it did not help. I still have the error.

attached also the Setup.xml from:

C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallShield\2020\Support\0409:

Thank you!

Hi

Are you seeing this error only for this specific project or all projects like even if you create a sample project and try to sign you are seeing the same error.

Could you please try to import the certificate to trusted to root location and try to sign the setup from trusted root location and see it works or not.

Here is a link to documentation about how to import certificate to trusted root:

https://flexeracommunity.force.com/customer/articles/en_US/HOWTO/How-to-add-certificates-to-the-Trusted-Root-Certification-Authorities-store-for-a-local-computer

Also try to turn off anti virus or any security software installed in your machine and check once.

You mean to say the link is not opening or trying the suggestion provided in the above link is not working,

If link is not working, then try the below link
