Error 2318 During a patch installation.
I get a dialog during a MSP patch installation (no setup.exe) saying, "Error 2318. File does not exist: C:\Config.Msi\PT462D.tmp"
What does that mean? Yeah, sure file doesn't exist, but how do I relate this to my project?

The 'File does not exist' message is perhaps a bit misleading, but appears to be associated with an entry in the Directory table which may be the same as an existing MSI property or key word.
KB Q107315 shows the fix for one cause.
Take a look in the Directory table of the project using the Direct Editor view or a tool like Orca, in 'Directory' column, which is the first column, for one of the key words listed in Q105571.
And, back the project up before changing raw table entries!
