Editing an MSP thru the command line
Or some script. In fact, I have a generic script that will edit an MSI with SQL, but I think I'm running into a problem with a patch. I can open this patch in InstallShield and edit it AS LONG as it's installed w/ a target installation.
However if I open the MSP in ORCA, then all it shows is the basic patch information, so I have a feeling my script can't work against a patch.
Any suggestions?
thanks

What kind of changes are you trying to make? Because of the way patch contents are structured, it's probably easier to modify the "after" project and then rebuild the patch.
