Custom action on uninstall
I need to run a custom action at uninstall to run an executable. However, this EXE gets installed from a merge module, so it does not show up in the list of files originally installed by my MSI.
When the installer is being created and compiled, the EXE isn't in the file system, so I can't select it. I just want to specify the location the file WILL have at uninstall. Should it not exist, I'd just ignore the return code.
I am unsure which custom action values will do this.

I don't know how much the merge module changes your situation, but a post from another user was very helpful for me.
Best of luck with this.
