Creation of Registry Entries on Win 7 64bit
Hi All,
I am having an issue where the registry entries are not getting created by Install Shield in LocalMachine\software on win 7 64bit by install shield, it works fine on win 7 32 bit. but not 64 bit????
Any ideas - Help ?

To create registry entries under HKLM\Software\MyKey you have to use a 64-bit package. The Express edition does not support this. Instead your keys are being created under HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node\MyKey. (Note that this is seen as HKLM\Software\MyKey by 32-bit applications.)
