Creating the IntallShield Setup and Deployment Project Error
After I activated the InstallShield2015LimitedEdition for the Visual Studio 2012 Professional with the update 4, I tried to create any IntallShield Setup and Deployment projects.
The error message (“This entry cannot contain the characters /\:*?”<>!. Specify a value that does not contain these characters”) immediately pops up.
My output and deployment project names do not contain these special characters.
The OS: Window 7 Professional.
Any advise? Thanks,

Hi,
Are you getting that on the new project dialog?
I set up the same environment with VS2012 update 5 and ISLE2015 and could not get the same warning.
I get an warning for putting those characters in the Name field on project creation, but it is an actual error with more details, not that warning.
